Rebecca

Age: 30+

Introduction

I'm in my mid 30s, have a couple of kids and work with kids in schools. My lifestyle is fairly active. In my teens and 20s I had a few snowboarding injuries, concussion, whiplash, a physically demanding job (ski lift operating), and in college did a LOT of walking with a heavy backpack of textbooks slung on one shoulder.

Initial Health Concerns

When I first connected with Dr. Peter, I was adjusting my sleeping position to compensate for the incredible stiffness and pain in my neck. I struggled to turn my head very far to the left.

What factors influenced your decision to choose chiropractic care as a solution to your health concerns?

A massage therapist friend explained that my tension would only improve with chiropractic care.

How would you describe your overall experience with chiropractic treatment?

Over time I've regained the ability to turn my head normally and without pain. This has been lovely. I expected it to work out much faster, but I'm very thankful to note that while many my age often talk of needing pain killers, I have a great quality of life and feel well and am not in pain.

What positive changes or improvements have you observed since beginning chiropractic care?

I can sleep in whatever position I want without discomfort. Even after activities, such as moving and other physically demanding things, my body quickly recovers.

Were there any challenges or obstacles you faced during your chiropractic journey, and how were they addressed?

During pregnancy, sometimes extra adjustments were given. The position of the adjustments was also changed when the normal adjustments were no longer comfortable.

How has chiropractic care impacted your daily life?

I feel good.
