Introduction

I’m a 29-year-old warehouse manager for a golf equipment supplier. Growing up very active, I played hockey, basketball, football and tennis, skied and cycled, and still golf and skateboard regularly. I spend most of my time outside of work as a semi-professional musician, playing bass guitar and singing in various bands.

Initial Health Concerns

I had constant pain in my neck and occasional pain in my shoulders and hips that needed attention.

What factors influenced your decision to choose chiropractic care as a solution to your health concerns?

The constant pain was the main factor, and a Groupon coupon for an X-Ray and adjustment at Powered by Chiropractic gifted to me by my girlfriend was the catalyst to starting the three years of treatment I have received from Dr. Peter.

How would you describe your overall experience with chiropractic treatment?

I was unsure how long it would take to notice a difference, but Dr. Peter’s educational approach to care helped me understand how long the process would take and the importance of regular adjustments over time. Overall, I have had a fantastic experience with my treatment. It has alleviated the pain and improved my life.

What positive changes or improvements have you observed since beginning chiropractic care?

My pain is gone, and I am much more conscientious of my posture now having the knowledge of spinal issues and how they affect the nervous system. When lifting packages at work I have noticed a difference, and even just sitting still at my computer is more comfortable.

Were there any challenges or obstacles you faced during your chiropractic journey, and how were they addressed?

My alignment did not improve as much as we had hoped after one year, which was due to my lack of consistency using the traction pillow provided to me. After being more disciplined, my progress improved immensely.

How has chiropractic care impacted your daily life, both physically and emotionally?

It has made my life much more enjoyable overall.
